A California-based retailer that sells 4X4 and off-road products is opening its first New Jersey store here.

4 Wheel Parts will hold a soft opening during the week of May 15 at the Garden State Pavilions on westbound Route 70 at Cornell Avenue. A grand opening celebration will take place June 4.

The firm is one of two chains expanding to the Cherry Hill shopping center.

A Boot Barn, which offers western and work-related apparel, footwear and accessories, is expected to open later this summer.
